So, one of the really exciting parts of this move for me is that we are using our tax refund to buy new furniture for our new house. It is desperately needed and Josh and I have had a lot of fun looking at stuff online and thankfully we have very similar tastes and like the same things. It works out good that we are not moving much of our furniture (believe me when I tell you most of it is falling apart to the point that it probably wouldn't make it throught the trip, or really the door), but that means we are going to have no living room furniture when we get there. I am excited about going shopping, but I know that it will really bother me if we have to go more than a day without setting up house. I'm an old pro at this and I like to get in and get settled! So, I've still been hoping to find something online that could be shipped by the time we get there. Not likely now, but I just have to show what I came across on Amazon.com tonight: Hamster furniture.
Seriously.
Here is what the product description had to say about it:
*Exciting living room ensemble includes a Sit-N-Snooze Sofa, Hide-N-See TV, Sip-N-Snack
Lamp, and Snack-N-Sit Rocker
*Makes watching your hamster, gerbil, or mouse great fun
Um, I added the emphasis on "mouse" so that you would catch that. Furniture for a mouse so you can have fun watching it!!!!!!!!!! There are people who want to watch mice? I can't tell you how relieved I am that I found this. I mean, really, I don't want the mice to feel left out of our furniture shopping experience. It's even on sale y'all. Really though, I don't think this particular set is right for our mice. Do they have this in a sectional??????

hahaha! I do hope you leave the mice behind.
I don't think your mice need their own furniture Emily! I think they like yours pretty well:)
Do they have it in a sectional...ha! that's funny. But here's what's even funnier...you joke about it but I'm about to go online to find that stuff because our little hamster is about to bang it's head against the cage it's so bored. Sometimes we remember to throw in an empty toilet paper roll but other than that the poor thing just sits in a hole all day long...that thing needs to read "get out of the pit". But this really is funny that they have furniture for rats...who would-a-thought. I don't seriously think I'll spend money on it but maybe. We're really bad pet owners...the hampster's tail has been bleeding and then we realized she had been out of food for like a few weeks and possibly resorting to eating her tail. Yikes!
