A while back I joined the Networked blogs on Facebook and started inviting people to follow my blog. People actually accepted my invitation! Now, please know that I totally get that 80% of those people don't actually read my blogs, they just didn't want to hurt my feelings by not accepting my invitation. I totally get that. But, for a week or so it had gotten up to 99 people. I hadn't paid much attention until it reached that number and then it started to bother me. I just needed one more person to have 100 people who followed my blog (even if that meant they just clicked a button to accept an invitation and never read a word I wrote). Actually, I needed two because on Networked blogs you have to follow your own blog. So anyway, today is the day. The number reached *drumroll please* 101!!
So for the five of you who actually do read my blog, I want this to be all about you. I want to hear what you have to say!
1. Do we know each other in real life or did you find my blog by searching something like WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEDATE CHILDREN FOR CHURCH SERVICES or something like that.
2. Do you have your own blog or website you want others to know about? Here's your chance to show it off! (To the other 4 people who will read this. :)
3. If you could describe yourself in five words, what would they be?
4. What is something people might surprised to know about you?
5. If we were to have a conversation in real life what do you think the topic would be? (Ex. Would you ask me something from my area of expertise like "How do you get blue and green puke out of the carpet?"
Okay. GO!! I really want to hear from you!!!

1.) We went to the same high school
2.) Yep. It's pretty boring. :) I was asking Ross Middleton about a year ago that if we could go back a decade & explain to our younger selves that there would be this monumental movement on the internet where people had these personal web sites where all they did was wrote essays for fun... what would we say to that?
3.) Serious. Loyal. Determined. Loving. Fun.
4.) I play it close to the vest.
5.) Yeah, I'd actually probably pick your brain about what it's like being a Mom. I'm kinda maddening about asking questions.
1. We have a mutual friend in Karen and I believe we have met once at our college graduation. We actually went to the same school:)
2. http://benforemanfamily.blogspot.com Enjoy!
3. organized, loyal, thoughtful, mouthy, attentive
4. I don't like ice cream.
5. Maybe tell funny kid stories, lament about our strong-willed children, or chat about our great friend Karen... I have a feeling it would get very silly for some reason. Books could be another good topic!
1) Yep! Wish you'd move back to PC, too!
2) Been thinking about it.
3. Compassionate, loyal, laid-back (most of the time), crazy, good listener
4. That I am actually shy and introverted. I have to make myself reach out to others...Christ does it through me. My flesh just wants to curl up and read a book!
5. What haven't we talked about!
Love your blogs...I am always looking and waiting for the next one!
1) We're family...even if not by very close relation
2) keepinupwiththegregorys.blogspot.com
3) I want a ham sandwhich
4) I've never been to Peru, I don't even own a shovel and I've never met the guy.
5) What's your secret to getting your kids to give you enough time to blog regularly?
1. Yes. My best friend!!
2. reflectivereasonings.blogspot.com
3.Analytical, Introverted, Studious, Nice (most of the time),Thoughtful (generally)
4. I did a load of laundry yesterday and forgot to put soap in. (I did remember before I put them in the dryer though...another round, this time with soap.)
5. After rounds of analyzing everything from current hairstyles and makeup to the spiritual state of the church, I would probably ask you if the question on your blog (ie the blue and green puke question) is a recent development or something from the past that I forgot about.
This is so much fun! I've loved reading all of your comments.
Philip-It is pretty funny that we write essays just for fun. I don't know if our former teachers would be pleased or horrified by my fragments, run-on sentences and lack of proof reading!! You are more than welcome to ask me any question about motherhood, but I might recommend asking someone else who has a clue what they are doing! :)
Lori-I just think it is so cool how I feel like I really know you b/c of blogging (and Karen!). We could have a blast sharing stories I am sure but I cannot believe there is a person who does not like ice cream!!
Cindi-You should definitely start a blog. And what you wrote about being introverted and having to work at reaching out to others is so true of me too. I think that is why God gave me Josh and Sarah so that I won't camp out in my house reading all day!
Josh-You crack me up. And we don't own a shovel either. As for my secret about blogging, the truth is that I am just an awesome mother and my children are perfect angels who are currently reading Beowulf as I write this. NOT!!! I know you know better since you had actually had the privilege of sitting through a church service with us. Honestly, I almost always blog at night after everybody is in bed. It is my therapy!!
Karen-I think you have been spending too much time with me if you're forgetting the laundry soap. :) As for the puke, it was a result of Eli feeding Daisy now-n-laters. I know you feel so jipped that I forgot to tell you that story. :)
I noticed that a few of you described yourself as loyal and I would honestly describe all of you that way. Thanks for being loyal readers!
1. Do we know each other in real life or did you find my blog by searching something like WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEDATE CHILDREN FOR CHURCH SERVICES or something like that.
Wait...OMG...weren't you totally like the prom queen!!!!..And our children seem to almost share DNA- although we both know that's not possible! LOL
2. Do you have your own blog or website you want others to know about? Here's your chance to show it off! (To the other 4 people who will read this. :)

3. If you could describe yourself in five words, what would they be?
Partially crazy, extremely humorous, and blessed :D
4. What is something people might surprised to know about you?
I'm not intentionally mean..LOL...it's just that I don't have a filter between my brain and my mouth
5. If we were to have a conversation in real life what do you think the topic would be? (Ex. Would you ask me something from my area of expertise like "How do you get blue and green puke out of the carpet?"
While we've never had THAT conversation...they usually include trying to zone out anyone complaining of violent acts done against them...any short people calling our names...or our husbands talking about how they spent our retirement on cars that ran just fine until they started playing with them :D
LOL!! Don't worry Kim, Josh constantly assures me that his car is going to make us millionaires one day. That and his baseball collection. :)
