The same thing happened with me looking for a job outside Long Term Care after I retired. I wanted something, preferably in Healthcare, but applied at many places . Only had a response from one of them. I applied several times at the Health Department in PSJ (for pretty much the same job, as people kept quitting. ) I had one full-fledged interview and it was given to someone else. Then a year and a half after I started looking, the PT position in Patient Access came up and I was hired. It is only two days a week, instead of five, but that is perfect for me. God kept me waiting until the right one came along and I am so grateful! I carry a little smooth stone in my pocket every time I go anywhere, that I call "My Gratitude Rock." Every time I put my hand in my pocket, I grasp that rock and thank God for my blessings. Good luck tomorrow; I know you are just what they need.....Jane Davisnoreply@blogger.com
